Corrupted Chica was handmade from scratch by myself as a squeal to my successful Corrupted Freddy video! Corrupted Chica is one of my favorite puppets I’ve made, she feels really good to pose and just hold in your hand. I feel like if I look away she’ll just start crawling towards me on her own!
Something I really tired to replicate with Chica was the nostalgia of all of those scary fnaf VHS youtube videos with long arms and twisted proportions.
I also designed Chica to embody the the concepts of hunger and femininity which I find makes her very unique in the games. Chica was the first female character in the series and by that alone she is more unique than the others, so I decided to emphasize that by making her look like she used to be once very beautiful and luscious but instead of going into that, I took it away from her and corrupted the concepts by making her flowing wings broken and frayed. As well as making her small waist and curves not “skinny” but fully starving and horrific. She was made with a lot of care and thought.
